If you know anybody who would like to do a Triathlon, please refer them to the Novice Mini-Series event on Wed 28th May (Athlete's would need to join the club. Cost £20. See below).

Please volunteer to marshal at any of the above events - see separate Forum pages.

NOTE: The Mid-Distance and Off-Road Tri's are both on Bank Holiday Monday's.

The Club Championships will again be your best 3 events from the PACTRAC Mid-Distance Tri on MONDAY 5th May, the Dambuster open tri on 21st June, AW Grafham open tri on 14th September and
your best 2 Mini-Series races. It is your % of the first PACTRACer home's time in each race that counts.

The Mini-Series Trophy will again be decided by your best 5 Events (Points 10 down to 1 for each race).

Unfortunately, our BTF Insurance requires that even club events need to be for MEMBERS ONLY now. The alternative is to apply for a Permit at £60 + £3 per NON BTF athlete (even PACTRACers would have to pay this £3) for each event, plus other hoops to jump through.
We have, therefore, introduced a NEW MEMBERS subscription of £20 which includes one free club race (value £6).

Some great, competitive racing at the Mid-Distance Race yesterday. 38 competitor's. Next Race is the first Mini-Series race of 2014. Just a reminder that anyone caught drafting in the Mini-Series will have to have a camera attached to their bike for the next club race that they do.

The Club Championships this year are wide open. It is your best 3 events from 5, being the Mid-Distance, your best 2 Mini-Series, Dambuster and Grafham Water on 14th September. It is your time as a % of the first PACTRACer's time that counts.

CLUB CHAMPIONSHIPS:

4 athlete's could still win this. All 4 have won 2 events. Whichever of them wins at Grafham Water on 14th September will move up to 300 points and, therefore, win the Trophy ... unless Neil Tandy puts in a "guest appearance", which might bring it all down to percentages.

Steve, as I'll be returning from Spain that day, I doubt it'll be me. Gotta be in it to win it as the say!

The water level at Grafham Water is very low. Due to Anglian Water having had a breach of their erosion defences, they have had to do emergency repairs which means lowering the water level for 3 months while repairs take place.

NiceTri have, therefore, moved the entire weekend’s events to St Neots, 4 miles south of Grafham.

The plan is exactly the same in every way, just at a different venue. Camping is still available and free at this venue, as is the car parking which is right next to transition.

Entries for the Sprint and Standard events are only open until next Monday 08/09/14. The Standard Distance is part of the PACTRAC Club Championships.
