Junior Frostbite League 2014-15

Hello All,

Welcome to the Junior Frostbite League. It is a super friendly league open to any PACTRAC juniors, the only criteria being you have to wear a PACTRAC top to run (I will have tops to sell on the day).

Each race is about 1.5 miles and starts at 10.15am. Any ability is more than welcome and it will be great to see lots of you from the Junior tri sessions.

We will have the PACTRAC club flags up, so aim to be there about 9.45am and then we can sort out a warm-up and make sure everyone is sorted and ready to race.

Absolutely brilliant effort this weekend at St Neots. So pleased and great running by all those that came along. The momentum with the Juniors is excellent let's keep it going.

Sundays race at Woodnewton has been postponed due to so many people being away for half term. We will run it in a few weeks at Stanground.

Do we have a volunteer for the warm up Mr Garner (snr)has done this brilliantly in the past but it may be just a little beyond him at the moment.

You are stuck with me and hopefully Giles - Giles can take the quicker ones and the rest stick with me :-)

I will be at the frostbite on Sunday with the junior PACTRAC kit so will have a selection of running vests and a few t-shirts available for purchase for anyone that needs one.

Well done the Juniors - you are fantastic. And thank you again for sticking around in all that horrible wet weather to encourage us oldies - it is appreciated, though we might not be able to acknowledge you at the time.

Next Frostbite is this Sunday at Huntingdon. All welcome you just need to be a PACTRAC member, 9 years or over and be wearing a PACTRAC top.

Hello All,

Happy New Year to you all, the next frostbite race is this Sunday and after Decembers excellent performance it would be great to back it up with another.

This sundays race is at March round the prison and is mixed terrain.

Well done to all the Junior who ran on Sunday at March. Excellent team effort to Finish 3rd. In the league we are 4th but only 2 points off 2nd. Special praise to Jonathan O who just missed out on a Podium finish this is a staggering improvement as in the same race last year he came 71st!
I would also like to thank all those Juniors who stopped to cheer the Seniors on, it certainly gave them a spring in their stride

Sunday we have Bourne Frostbite, we are doing brilliantly at the moment currently we are in 4th place but we are only 2 points off 2nd so all to play for.

It would be great if we got another amazing turnout, all are welcome as long as you are a PACTRAC member and 9 years or over. You must also run in a PACTRAC top (let me know if you need one). If we get to Bourne for about 9.45 with a warm up to start at 10.00 that should give everyone enough time to get to the start.

The Seniors are also very impressed with the support they are getting from the Juniors at the races and it is really appreciated.

Amazing running once again from the pactrac juniors. Hope all the mud came off!

Go Brill Snr - Well Done Tim 3rd PACTRAC home in the Adults race!

A huge well done to Olivia Corner who couldn't make the frostbite as she was racing in a Duathlon at the Olympic Park as she WON the Tristar 1 girls event.

A great start for Olivia for the rest of the season and I am sure it will be the first of many podium finishers.

We have made it to the last Frostbite race of the series, we have had an amazing turnout over the series and this has lead to great results at all the races. We are currently in 4th place in the League, this is potentially our best result in the league ever and is thanks to all your hard work!

Lets see if we can get our best ever turnout and hopefully a result to match.

Hinchingbrooke should be lovely and muddy so come prepared, wet wipes are always useful for after! This is a great course to race and then support the Seniors in their race after. I will make sure there is plenty of biscuits and cakes for everyone taking part. The awards for the Junior Boy and Girl Frostbite runner of the season will also be awarded after.

Hope to see lots of you at training on Saturday and the Frostbite on Sunday.

Brilliant running today by the Juniors who finished 1st as a team at today's race. Well done to everyone who has turned up and raced at these races it has been a tremendous team effort. We finished 4th in the end. Same points as 3rd but on results count back lost out. Roll on 2015-16.

Again brilliant running by all. You have a very proud coach.
