bike transport oz

Does anyone have any experience of transporting a bike to Australia?
I have a place in the age groupers for the Duathlon in Adelaide this October.
Nirvarna transported my bike to Spain and back last year and they are doing a flight and hotel package for Adelaide but they won't do the bike.
It will be in a bike box and I would like it collecting early October and shipping to the Hotel as we plan to go to Sydney and Melbourne first.
Any advice would be appreciated

I am sure fedex / dhl etc would ship to your hotel for a price. May be worth loking into renting a bike when you are out there and taking pedals

Renting is an option and Adelaide has quite a few bike shops. When we went to Spain last year Nirvana transported the box and I put in all the kit as well as the bike.
We plan two weeks holiday in Australia before the Duathlon so I didn't really want my shoes, helmet, pedals, etc in our bags as we were traveling around.
