Email received from Simon Lovell, Race Director of the Eye 10k:
"We know it will not come as a surprise but we have regrettably decided that with Covid restrictions still in place we cannot for the second year running hold the Eye10k this year. We are planning to return on Sunday 8th May 2022 and hope to see all our friends again then.
In the meantime, we would like to invite you to take part in our VIRTUAL EYE 10K over the WEEKEND OF SATURDAY 8th and SUNDAY 9th May. There is no entry fee and no prizes, just an opportunity to complete a 10k distance over a course of your choice, log it on the Eye10k virtual results page and we will create a set of results where you can see how you compare with others submitting a time. There isn’t a charge to take part, but we would ask that if you are able to, a small donation to our race charity which this year is the Peterborough Light project would be appreciated.
Please check back to the race web site www.eye10k.co.uk nearer the date to find the link to submit your time.
Best wishes
Simon
Race Director"
