Guy Gooding - Funeral 26th January.

Some of you will know already that Guy Gooding passed away on Tuesday evening. Very sad news. He was fit and healthy last week, was taken ill on Sunday with sepsis, and despite him being a real fighter, he quickly deteriorated.

Guy joined PACTRAC in the early 1990's; and was a regular points scorer when we won the Frostbite League in both 1996-97 and 1997-98, competing in all but one of the 11 events.

The club wishes to send condolences to Wendy.

Following on from the sad news of Guy Gooding's sudden passing last Tuesday; Guy's Funeral will be on Thursday 26th January.

The Remembrance service will be at Alwalton church at 2:30pm and the wake at Elton Furze Golf Club. Wendy has said that she really would like everyone to come along to the wake to share fond memories of Guy.

Also on Thursday 26th January, Wendy and friends will be meeting at the Gorilla bike shop in Oundle at 8.30am to have a 20-25 mile bike ride in memory of Gùy. Wendy has said that "it would be lovely if PACTRAC members past and present would like to join us for this".

Come rain or shine, let's see if we can give Guy a big send off.
