Race information received from Eye Runners, 5k clashes with the mini-series
2011 Peterborough 5k Grand Prix Series which starts next Wednesday - 8th June at Ferry Meadows, Country Park, Peterborough. Other dates and venues are:
22nd June - Eye
6th July - Ferry Meadows
20th July - Stamford
3rd August - Werrington

Whissendine 6ix - This year being held on Friday 8th July with the 6 mile run starting at 7:30pm. For those who might fancy a walk instead the start time is 7:00pm. Details and on line entry available at www.grainstorebrewery.com where you can also print an entry form.
Eye 5 Charity - being held on Thursday August 11th 2011. The choosen charity for 2011 is the Wildlife Trust. The Trust looks after many of the local nature reserves including Eye Green which is used as part of our annual 3k fun run and Star Pit which we used in 2009 for the Charity Race.
We are pleased to support the Trust in the work they do and the proceeds from the race will go to provide a new water pump at the Star Pit reserve, hence the 'Prime the Pump' slogan for this years race.
