Help for Heroes Sportive. 1st April.

Mon, 6th Feb 2012 - 7:08 p.m.

Their is a new Sportive on the Calendar. The Help for Heroes Sportive. This will take place from Marholm Village Hall, near Peterborough, on Sunday 1st April. Distances of 90 miles, 70 miles or 50 miles. Cost is just £10 and is ALL for a good cause.

See www.peterborough5x5challenge.org for further details. Entry online. The organisers are local club cyclists and runners but are organising it with Help for Heroes in an attempt to raise £10,000 over the year. Main organiser, Terry Murphy, has signed up to do our Novice Mini-tri on Wednesday 30th May.

Great if we could get a load of PACTRACers doing it.

Sun, 19th Feb 2012 - 8:49 p.m.

UPDATE 1: Entries on the day will be charged at £15, so anybody looking to do this Sportive should enter in advance at just £10.

UPDATE 2:Terry Murphy will be doing the 2nd Novice Mini-Series race on 27th June, and not the first one on 30th May.

Mon, 12th Mar 2012 - 9:48 a.m.

This was in Saturday's ET alongside the Matt Gunby article. Unfortunately the www. was missed off the report. Entries are coming in quite quickly now, so should be a really good event.

Sat, 24th Mar 2012 - 3:24 p.m.

Entries will close online on Thursday 29th March. Entries will still be available on the day, and the price will still be £10.

See you at Marholm on 1st April.
