Monday got off to a great start with 40 swimmers in the pool. All 6 lanes did the same session, but off different times.
Lanes 3 and 4 went off the same times as follows:
4 x 100 on 1:45
2 x 50 on 0:50
3 x 100 on 1:45
4 x 50 on 0:50
2 x 100 on 1:45
6 x 50 on 0:50
1 x 100 on 1:45
8 x 50 on 0:50 so 4 blocks of 500 yards, giving a great 2,000 yard session, and everybody seems to be getting quicker, so we must be doing something right.
TUESDAY: 7:00pm at the Track.
10 of us at the Track did a great session - 7 x 800 metres with 90 seconds recovery.
(some were even in shorts!).

WEDNESDAY: Swim at Oundle 7:30pm. Technique with Nigel "The Beast" French.
2500 yards including some hard kicking. 24 in the pool. The end 2 lanes did a SwimSmooth session.
THURSDAY: Spinning at Stanground 6:30pm.
12 of us there doing a mixture of hills, speedwork and jumps. 3 more to go before the clocks spring forward.
FRIDAY: Swim at Oundle 7:30pm.
Another good session of 200s, 100s and 50 yards hard. 37 in the pool.
SUNDAY: 5 mile Frostbite League run at Huntingdon. Final race, and 4 teams all vying for 7th spot. We did it. Finished 7th overall in the League. Onwards and upwards. Well done to Emma and Carol for cycling there on such a rotten wet day.
