Trail running shoes

Hello all

maybe wrong name but am after a half decent pair of shoes to run
muddy off road and occasional road. Cross countryshoes I suppose.
The worst I'll need them for is boggy frostbite type runs
- think Bourne Woods and Hinchingbrooke after lots of rain.
My current shoes are neutral but offer little in the way of grip
when its sloppy.
PS Don't want spikes as need to run on tarmac a bit.

I do most of my running in the woods, but have to run on the road to get there/back. I use Brooks Cascadia and have done for a couple of years now. I don't bother looking for anything else now as they fit really well and are really comfortable.

I can strongly recommend Skechers "GoTrails"

Same as Kate, I do a lot of off road running and get on well with Brooks Cascadia. They are fine on the road as well to get the off road muddy slippy bits.

Thanks for prompt replies.
Like the look of both but cannot find dealer for skechers!

Try http://www.frogislandtriathlon.com/ for sketchers. They are a good shoe off and on road, they have a 4mm heel to toe drop with the insoles in or 0mm with them out.

Inov-8 mudrocs are great. Low profile but light. I wore plasters on my heals for first few races unyil they were soft but I will be buying these again so that's the best recommendationI can give.
