Route92 cycle ride 2369.5 miles in 18 days

Mon, 7th Apr 2014 - 9:53 a.m.

Some of you will have met Phil Johns who supported our Spinning Classes at Stanground throughout the winter. Phil is looking to ride 2369.5 miles in 18 days, visiting all 92 Football League Grounds. That's an average of over 130 miles per day, every day! and all in the name of charity (Anna’s Hope). (This year’s Tour de France is only 2284 miles and they have 21 days).

Phil is looking for company throughout the ride, with riders joining him for parts of various stages. Obviously, he's going to be in our area at the start on Good Friday 18th April; and at the finish on Bank Holiday Monday 5th May (the date of our Mid-Distance Tri at Oundle), so a bit of support on the first and last legs would be good.

Day 1, Friday 18th April 2014.

Posh-Mk Dons 51.6 miles

MK Dons-Northampton 20.0 miles

Northampton-Leicester 34.4 miles

Leicester-Burton Albion 32.8 miles
