Hey all,
Last year i did the RutlandSwim, a 2km swim across Rutland Water and loved it!! I camped the evening before next to the lake and then cycled afterwards too.
The entry for next year is open, includes a new 4km swim, and i propose....we enter on mass, do a family camping evening the night before, (Sat 13th August) rounders, bbq etc and then either do the swim, support, lay in and get the bacon ready or get on the bikes later in the morning.
So...get entered if you want to swim, it includes a lovely trip on the Rutland belle for the price, a fab atmosphere and organisation (Mary Hardwickš) and i think we could make a right family weekend of it!!
