The 2025 Frostbite League season kicked off in style on 5th October 2025 at Priory’s Park, St Neots. We had an excellent turnout with 19 PACTRAC members representing the club, 15 in the Senior race and 4 in the Junior race completing the course.
After days of stormy weather, we had blue skies, the sun was shining and there was no mud in sight! 169 juniors and 427 seniors took on the course, an increase of nearly 100 seniors over last year's opener and an increase of 30 juniors.
The 5-mile route involves several laps of the park and is varied cross country terrain with woodland trails, grassy stretches, downhills and a few kickers in there for fun!
It was an incredibly fast field with some phenomenal times! In the Senior’s race, Adam Clark led the charge for the club coming home in an impressive 36th place, followed by Christian Richards, Rob Hammond, Sophie Robotham and Harriet Lomas. A special shout-out to Julia Kingsley who ran her first ever Frostbite and to Rebecca Burge who somehow squeezed in the event before jetting off to Kona for the Ironman that afternoon!
In the Junior race, Hugo Flikweert was 40th, followed by India Lazenby, James Lloyd and Mallory Faith. Well done to everyone who took part.
It was brilliant to see the bright red PACTRAC vests around the course and so much energy from the team. Next up is Nene Park on 2nd November which traditionally sees our biggest turnout of the season. Bring it on!
