Join PACTRAC Triathlon Club – Embrace the Present, Build the Future
Our journey began in 1984 when Graham McLeod organized an Ironman at Tallington Lakes, moving to Ferry Meadows in 1985. Inspired local athletes, including lifeguards Steve Cox and Chris Boon, formed PACTRAC in February 1985 with the support of Councillor Ken Winfrey and Laurie Miles as chairman.
For the last 15 years, PACTRAC has organized 6-10 races annually, each featuring at least two disciplines. We train at the 50-metre pool at Oundle School Sports Centre, our swim training base since the early days. The Frostbite 5-mile runs, part of the local winter running league from October to March, bring members together for fun and fitness.
Our members compete in prestigious national and international events, achieving remarkable success. Georgina Jennings has become a World Champion group winner. Founding member Steve Hope, along with Simon Hoppe, Paul Lunn, and other dedicated athletes, consistently perform at high levels, showcasing the club’s talent and commitment.
